Sleigh Bells@ Stubbs

his weekend, April 23rd, Saturday, the Sleigh bells played at La Zona Rosa. The show sold out almost immediately, and they performed their latest album, Treats, released May 11th, 2010. 
                    Sleigh Bells, the band of just two people, based in Brooklyn, New York, is composed of Derek E. Miller (songwriter, guitarist, producer) and Alexis Krauss (vocalist).  The band was formed in 2008, and the duo quickly jumped into the studio and threw together their first seven track album, Sleigh Bells. 
                    Their second album, Treats, released in 2010, is an eleven track album, that became popular very quickly, with songs from the album being in shows and movies. One track was in Gossip Girl, one in Skins  (the UK version) and one in a cell phone commercial.

    Haha a two person band. I like how the dude is the songwriter, guitarist, and producer, but the girl is just the vocalist. Way to pull your weight Alexis. =p

    Yah! the UK version is the original version and it is so much better than the US version!!
